With a background in both fund management and in-house investor relations, Alexandra is particularly well qualified to advise board directors on investor relations.

She understands, at first hand, both the board and the fund manager perspectives. She has personal experience of the methodologies required for successful investor relations.

Before starting her own consultancy in 2002, Alexandra was:
Director of Global Corporate Communications for the Business Process Outsourcing Division of PricewaterhouseCoopers, based in London;
Over 10 years in industry as Director of Corporate Communications, first at Delta PLC (engineering), then at Medeva plc (pharmaceuticals);
A private client fund manager at the merchant bank Charterhouse Japhet, in the City of London.

In her in-house roles, Alexandra has had responsibility for creating and managing investor relations and corporate communications strategies and functions, and for training directors, in a variety of corporate settings.

Alexandra was one of the earliest entrants into the pure investor relations profession in the UK.
She is a Fellow, and was for ten years a director, of the Investor Relations Society in the UK, latterly as Deputy Chairman. She also chaired a number of the Society's committees.

In the late 1980's she sat on the committee set up under the auspices of the Bank of England, investigating the case for regulation of professional financial communicators.

She has a BA (Hons) degree in French and Spanish from the University of Exeter. In 1986, whilst a fund manager, she qualified as a member of what is today the UK Society of Investment Professionals.

Alexandra sits on the Markets and Regulations Committee of the Quoted Companies Alliance. In 2006, she wrote the QCA's publication "IR Guidance for Smaller Quoted Companies" *.
